Ever wonder what's in your food. If you have ever read the ingredients on the back of a food box, surely you have stumbled on a word or two that might not be familiar. I enjoy researching these words. What are they? Are they good for my family? If not ,why, what harm can they do? I also enjoy finding simple, healthy recipes. I have a few health conscious family members and friends who are always sharing new tips with me. Here is where I can share them with you.

Crushed raw walnuts, almonds, pine nuts, flax seed & a few craisans. Salad and pancake topper!
Ok so I had a little of this and a little of that. I put it all in my vita mix and a made a little healthy nut topping for salads ,pancakes, and whatever else you want to add a little crunch too. The craisans give it just a touch of sweetness.
